William T. Ayton is a British artist living in Upstate New York. His work deals with myths, the human condition, and social issues.
Important works include The War Room, a four-wall painted installation, a series on The Holocaust, and a series of paintings on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
His most recent projects include a poetry/art book with poet Eliot Katz, entitled "Love, War, Fire, Wind: Looking Out from North America's Skull" (Narcissus Press, 2009) and an online crime-noir-visual-blog-novel, "Shadow Bay" with writer Donald J. Rothschild (see shadowbaynoir.blogspot.com.)
His work tries to shine a little light into the darker recesses of the human soul.
