Artist statement.

The works presented for your attention have at their base a fundamental presumption that art, in its proper essence, is a mirror.

In no lesser degree it is for the viewer- a picture may become a reflection of the meeting between himself and the world of symbols expressed thru it. Such a meeting is distinguished by a powerful expansion of frontiers of the self. New horizons are being revealed and each of them can be interpreted and felt according to the individual trajectory of his/her life.

Eight years ago started working with computer graphics.
Produced around 150 artworks using Photoshop.
This tool provided a channel for creative output that was based on simultaneous change of perspective towards a more holistic vision. It is only natural for such a vision to employ collage techniques and multi-layered representation of image. They allow to combine different elements from nature and psyche, piercing thru the thickness of obligatory illusionist shows of daily survival.
